The Shure QLXD2/B87A 24-bit digital wireless system streamlines the same features as Shure's high-end systems into a more affordable package. With a QLXD2 transmitter mated to the wireless Beta 87A microphone, Shure gives you the choice of single-, dual-, or quad-channel receivers, for unmatched versatility in any broadcast situation. The transmitter has exceptional charge capacity whether you choose rechargeable lithium-ion or AA batteries. For high-traffic scenarios, an Ethernet port allows simultaneous configuration and setup of multiple receivers; and Auto Channel Scan and IR Sync make setup even faster.

AFFORDABLE, CAPABLE DIGITAL WIRELESS SYSTEM

Now you can access many of the features of Shure's high-end ULXD digital wireless systems while still balancing the budget. The QLXD2/B87A gives you a 24-bit digital signal with AES 256-bit encryption, so you can transmit securely on up to 17 channels. It also offers Auto Channel Scan for quick discovery of open channels and IR sync to assign the desired frequency to both transmitter and receiver in one step.

HANDHELD CONVENIENCE AND DURABILITY

The QLXD2/B87A comes with a wireless version of Shure's Beta 87A microphone, with smooth frequency response, high SPL capability, and an interchangeable mic cartridge. The microphone features a supercardioid pattern for better side rejection and durable all-metal construction for long-lasting performance.

HIGH-CAPACITY POWER OPTIONS

You have the option of using Shure's SB900A lithium-ion rechargeable battery or AA batteries. Either way, you get outstanding charge capacity — up to nine hours with AA and 10 hours with the lithium-ion battery. The bodypack's LCD display also reports remaining runtime in hours and minutes, so there's no danger of unintentional signal loss.
